At the Ultima we realize how difficult it is in this day and age to be there for your kids at every turn, no matter how hard you try.
At the Ultima, here's what our staff and blackbelts do BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE Just for YOUR children:
- Our staff is dedicated to setting a phenomenal example for your children. We talk to them about how they are doing in school (some of our blackbelts even help tutor struggling kids!)
- We model life skills that are important for teaching your child. For example, we model respectful behavior and speech - All of our Blackbelts are addressed as "Yes, Ma'am" or "Yes, Sir". What we have found is that when children learn to speak respectfully to others, they begin to understand how to expect respect for themselves. It is one of the only true ways to develop a real sense of confidence, and self-esteem.
- Your children will learn about giving back to the community! Our Red and Blackbelts are involved in community programs all over Tucson.
- Your children will begin to become a part of the most elite, mature and nurturning community of martial artists in Tucson!
Chun Kuk Do was founded by Chuck Norris, who was a Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do trained martial artist. In the late 1980’s, Mr. Norris took his base in Tang Soo Do and added elements of several other styles, including Jiu Jitsu, to find his own style called Chun Kuk Do. The name of Chun Kuk Do identifies the unified set of philosophies, principles, and techniques. Chun Kuk Do is a traditional martial art Mr. Norris created for a more complete martial art style.
We offer the following CKD classes just for kids:
- Lil' Champs for 3-4 year olds
- Power Cats for 5-6 year olds
- Tigers Karate for 7-12 year olds
