Developed in ancient China by Wong Long, Mantis Boxing is a highly effective, traditional Chinese martial arts sytstem.  The system is composed of rapid striking, throwing, and chin na controlling (joint locks, pressure points, constriction) techniques.  Students will also be taught a full range of traditional Chinese Weapons.

Mantis Boxers, as practioners are often called, are known for their speed, unrelenting continuous attacks and their 'wrestling hands' which is witnessed in the style's signature mantis hooking techniques.  While the style utilizes all ranges of fighting, it specializes in mid to close range.

In addition to Mantis Boxing , our lineage has adopted elements of Tam Tui (Seeking Legs), family style Kung Fu and Chen style Tai Chi Chuan.
